The Summit is a culmination of the Teen Wellness Connection, a program of The Science and Health Education Partnership (SEP) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) who works to support science teaching and learning throughout the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD).

WHEN: Saturday March 21, 2026 from 9am-3pm
WHERE: UCSF Mission Bay Campus, Genentech Hall, 600 16th Street, San Francisco
WHAT: A FREE daylong gathering for 150 Bay Area teens in 9th-12th grade to learn about mental health topics, coping strategies, and self care, feel welcomed and help build a supportive community, and have FUN!
- Presentations from University of California San Francisco (UCSF) researchers, health professionals, and other local experts on teen mental health.
- Exciting Sessions include: Mindfulness, Anxiety and Depression, Substance Use, Reducing the Stigma, and many more!
- Raffle, goodie bags, and FREE catered lunch from SF Kebab.
WHO: 150 High school students and up to 20 adult supporters
The TWC team decided to open the Summit to adults, but specifically not parents of the teens who attend. If you are a teacher, mentor, or coach and would like to bring a group of students, please register! There will be separate morning and afternoon breakouts for adults to attend together and network/connect.
