Young Women In Bio (YWIB) launched the YWIB Ambassador program in 2020 for students interested in championing and supporting the organization’s efforts to create educational and leadership opportunities in STEM for young women. This program provides students with mentorship, leadership development, and the chance to design and lead a STEM-related project in their community.

Each school year, YWIB welcomes approximately 20 students to the new class of Ambassadors. Two Ambassadors are typically chosen from the San Francisco Bay Area region.
