BioMarin is excited to partner with Young Women in Bio (YWIB) to provide Bay Area high school students with an inside look at careers in biotechnology and drug development. Through guided tours of BioMarin laboratories and a panel discussion featuring professionals from a variety of functions, students will learn how science, business, and innovation come together to develop medicines for people with rare genetic diseases. The event is designed to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders by showcasing the many pathways available in the biopharmaceutical industry.

BioMarin is a leading global rare disease biotechnology company focused on delivering medicines for people living with genetically defined conditions. More information can be found on https://www.biomarin.com/.

All participants must sign the BioMarin waiver to attend. See registration confirmation email for details.

Note: This is a drop-off event (parents/guardians should not attend). Space is limited. Should your availability change after registration, please email sanfranciscoYWIB@womeninbio.org so we can offer your space to another student.
