The Ultra – Processed Foods Study at Stanford University

Sharing an opportunity to support a Stanford University research study

(The Ultra – Processed Foods Study at Stanford University is looking to learn more about how certain foods contribute to healthy and unhealthy eating habits and weight gain, and the effects this may have on the brain.)

The Stice Lab at Stanford University is conducting a research study for healthy teenagers between the ages of 13-16. The study involves some short questionnaires, body measurements, and a non-invasive fMRI scan where they will taste test small amounts of a milkshake or smoothie (following which they will receive a picture of their brain!). Participants can earn up to $238 over the course of 2 years.

This is an excellent way for students interested in psychology, neuroscience, science, and medicine to participate in real-life research!
